Some Changes in my Study Experience

To begin with, I have to say that: being a second year journalist student, there are subjects and contents that I have not yet been able to experience, but I will give my opinion from the inside with the courses I have already taken, and from the outside about the courses I have not yet taken. The courses I have already taken, in the first year, were mainly theoretical and in a non-pandemic normality, therefore, I believe they were carried out in a good way. In general, these theoretical courses are based on reading a lot and studying theory, which I think is a good place to start. There are also slight approaches to practice, but not complete. From the second year onwards, practical courses such as Radio, Photojournalism, Audiovisual Language, among others, begin to appear, involving not only a theoretical but also a physical disposition. Personally, I have not had the opportunity to take these courses online or in person, but I imagine that in pandemic these courses were not very...

Time travel to the future

Time travel has always been something that human beings have wanted to do, and if they had the opportunity to do it, they would certainly do it. But, I think traveling to the future would be complicated because people are destroying the planet. So my trip to the future would be to a nearer future, to the year 2029. That year, there would be presidential elections in Chile and the constitution that was written between 2021 and 2022 would already be in force. I would like to see Camila Vallejo as a presidential candidate and I would also like to see the Chilean state as a plurinational state where different regions would have greater economic, political, cultural, etc. I also hope that in those years Sebastián Piñera will be in prison and Lucía Hiriart will have passed away. Personally, I would like to have a stable job and be happy, I hope. I really don't know if I will stay in that future. I think I still have a lot of things to live and I would like to live in the present and ...

My ideal Job

As a future journalist and communicator, my ideal job (too ideal) would be to be a photojournalist and travel the world reporting through photos and images. I love taking pictures and communicating through them, so I think it would be my ideal job. In this job, I would like to have the opportunity to travel around the world, getting to know different cultures and realities and portraying them. I would like to work for a media with a photographic and visual approach, and I believe that if this is possible, I will be able to have an office to edit my photos and write my reports. Regarding taking a postgraduate degree, if there was one that was associated with photography, I would definitely do it, and why not teaching classes. And if that option is not possible, I would like to do a postgraduate degree on culture, because it somehow ties in with my dream job of traveling the world and learning about cultures. And if none of this is possible in the future, I would like to work with a phot...

My Pet

In this post I will talk about my dog named Shiro. Shiro came into my life in 2009, when one day my mother went out to exercise in the neighborhood, she found a small and malnourished, but very affectionate dog. Shiro followed her until my mother returned to the house, and stood outside the door, so she gave him cat food and water. As the days went by, Shiro never left, but he wasn't staying for good either, he was always wandering around the neighborhood and then going back to sleep (By the way, Shiro during this time was not coming into the house). Until one day, he didn't come back. As we already had a relationship and affection with Shiro, we went to look for him and we found him. And from that day on, Shiro slept inside the house until today. And not only inside the house, inside the sheets too xD. Shiro is friendly, tender, affectionate, playful and very calm. He has given me a lot of love in these 12 years with him. He is my brother, my company when I am sad, my laught...

Childhood Series

When I was a kid, I remember I didn't watch a lot of series, I liked to do other things like play video games or go outside to play with friends, but cartoons were present anyway. One of the series I liked the most when I was a child was The Fairly OddParents. Timmy's adventures with Cosmo and Wanda were a lot of fun for me. I remember I always watched that cartoon with a neighbor who came to my house and we used to watch TV. Another series I remember watching was Teletubbies. When I was a kid, I remember this series was very fun for me, but when I grew up and watched it again after a long time I found it a very strange series. Cubeez is another series that I remember, but not very much. I remember seeing this cartoon many times, but I don't remember what it was about or what the characters were doing, I was very, very young. Now that I'm an adult and I'm aware that I've seen few series, it's made me want to watch cartoons now. I guess it's never...

Alex Anwandter at Blondie 02/02/20

The concert I will talk about is Alex Anwandter at Blondie on february 2, 2020. But first I will talk a little bit about Alex. Alex Anwandter is a Chilean singer-songwriter who makes pop music. In his lyrics he talks about love, heartbreak, identity and politics. He began his musical career with Teleradio Donoso in 2005 and in 2010 he continued as a soloist. His latest album is Latinoamericana, released in 2018. Continuing with the concert, I remember that there were a lot of people and it was very hot, but the energy of the atmosphere was incredible. Everyone was dancing and singing along to the songs everytime. In this show, Alex performed his best songs, from Teleradio Donoso to his latest albums such as Amiga and Latinoamericana, two of my favorite albums of my life. I went to that concert with my brother, my brother-in-law and a friend, and we had an incredible time. Seeing Alex in concert is a beautiful experience for us. Alex is currently making another album and I hope he...

A country I would like to visit

If there were no pandemic at this time and if I were a millionaire, I would certainly go to France, specifically Paris and Bordeaux. To Paris, because I can get my fill of art with museums and history, and just to look at the beautiful city. And Bordeaux, because my grandfather lives there and because my mother and brother lived there many years ago, and I am excited about the idea of getting to know that city and touring the places they have been to. Of Paris I can only say that it is a capital city well known for its culture, its art and for being a beautiful city. And about Bordeaux, the only thing that links me to it is my family. If I were to travel to these places, it would not be for work or study, it would be for vacation, to relax, enjoy the cities and see as much as I can. I hope one day to be able to make that trip and many others. París Bordeaux
