Some Changes in my Study Experience

To begin with, I have to say that: being a second year journalist student, there are subjects and contents that I have not yet been able to experience, but I will give my opinion from the inside with the courses I have already taken, and from the outside about the courses I have not yet taken.

The courses I have already taken, in the first year, were mainly theoretical and in a non-pandemic normality, therefore, I believe they were carried out in a good way. In general, these theoretical courses are based on reading a lot and studying theory, which I think is a good place to start. There are also slight approaches to practice, but not complete.

From the second year onwards, practical courses such as Radio, Photojournalism, Audiovisual Language, among others, begin to appear, involving not only a theoretical but also a physical disposition. Personally, I have not had the opportunity to take these courses online or in person, but I imagine that in pandemic these courses were not very viable. Should pandemic continue, one change I propose is to improve the experience of the practical courses on an online platform.

In terms of campus infrastructure, leaving out the context of the pandemic, I think the campus is good in terms of space, but I think it needs improvement in some things. It could have more green areas, more specialized rooms for film and journalism, more study spaces. What should be highlighted is the space it has, the libraries and the sports campus.

Finally, I believe that the use of technology is and will be essential, especially in the context of a pandemic. It makes learning easier and more didactic.

My Pet

In this post I will talk about my dog named Shiro. Shiro came into my life in 2009, when one day my mother went out to exercise in the neighborhood, she found a small and malnourished, but very affectionate dog. Shiro followed her until my mother returned to the house, and stood outside the door, so she gave him cat food and water. As the days went by, Shiro never left, but he wasn't staying for good either, he was always wandering around the neighborhood and then going back to sleep (By the way, Shiro during this time was not coming into the house). Until one day, he didn't come back. As we already had a relationship and affection with Shiro, we went to look for him and we found him. And from that day on, Shiro slept inside the house until today. And not only inside the house, inside the sheets too xD. Shiro is friendly, tender, affectionate, playful and very calm. He has given me a lot of love in these 12 years with him. He is my brother, my company when I am sad, my laught...
